I've been into racing games & sims for as long as I can remember. My first experience of online sim racing goes back to early 2000 with Grand Prix Legends. I raced GPL 4-5 years in a local league as well as racing open lobbies through the VROC app. For about 6 months in late 2005/early 2006 I had the pleasure of taking part in the very early testing phase of what was shaping up to be a revolutionary service based approach to online sim racing. Time constraints and other obligations then made me leave the hobby I loved only to return two decades later when I rediscovered the wonderful Gran Turismo series with GT7. I'm having a lot of fun getting back up to speed in sport mode. Oh, and that online sim racing service? Yeah, that was a fledgling iRacing.
