Pals when they actually have to learn something new instead of Red Bull Ring for the 200th time: 36% rating

i'm all for learning a new track, but mastering a track with over 100 turns isn't very realistic in a week's time, at least not for me, I'm not a A/B/C rated driver

so this one kinda bums me out. had it been in normal-direction, I think I'd have taken the week off just to compete as much as possible, I absolutely love the Nordschleife 

So you want to get better without playing, noted

I've been doing way too many Daily race Bs in group 4, so this seems like the perfect opportunity to improve

Enjoy the challenge tbh I'm not that high rated and started about 2 months ago I enjoy it if I learn in reverse in theory it helps my learn it straight😂

Personally I am very tired of group 4, and this combination is very good for just improving in general at the game.

But as someone who definitely spent weeks in a row doing group 4 daily Bs, I wouldn't say everyone who does it is trash. They just do the races that look nice to them, as the Nurburgring in reverse is difficult, and daily race C is targeted to more advanced drivers in general

Nonsense! This route was designed to be driven forwards. Polyphony is taking the easy way out by simply covering supposed "variety" with reverse routes.

Gang you're B Dr anything you say is irrelevant. Also it's a game so part of the fun is doing interesting combos you can't do irl. What's next you're gonna cry about a group c or a jgtc race cause they don't use them cars no more?

It is true that a lot of the tracks are neglected in daily races, but on the other hand, tracks like St Croix are now being used regularly, so I wouldn't say they aren't trying at all to bring new tracks 🤷‍♂️.

 To create a set of three races that appeal to everyone is impossible, and this week they decided to make a combination appealing to the higher end of players in terms of skill. Personally, this is what I think daily C is all about, as it is a challenge to all players and test your skill on things other than raw pace, such as tyre saving and consistency.

The only issue I see is that there isn't a good alternative to race C, as race B is usually very simple and repetitive. If race B was a bit different and more complex, then there would be no need to complain :) so I understand why people are unhappy.

It is true that this combination might be a bit controversial, but I see it as an opportunity to race somewhere you never could otherwise (also if it were the normal Nordschliefe I don't think anyone would be complaining, so you might as well try it...)

Saw this and though OMG I'm never going to be able to drive that track in reverse.

Tried it out quickly on Monday and hated it. Think I set a time of about 9:00 or something around there.
Since then, I've taken the time to drive around the track and somewhat learn it. I'm by no means a top driver, but I've got my time down to 8:10 so I'm happy. Give me a few more days and I'm sure it will be under 8:00.

What I take away from this, is it possible if you put your mind to it. It's different, it's challenging and that's what "gaming" is about.

All pro drivers were B rated at some point (even if it was on an older gran turismo game)

I don't know why that even matters, as daily races are for all players to do, and everyone has their own opinion.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and their is no need to be harsh or mean to them, even if you don't agree. This should be a place where people can discuss about the race, rather than argue and insult.

On the other hand, it is interesting to see other people's opinions, and they could even change your attitude towards the race ;)

To all those who say that the Nordschleife is not actually driven backwards, there is a rally in real live, that does exactly that, but only as a rally and not as a race.

That's so funny because when I was racing yesterday I was thinking "This feels more like a rally than a race" 😃

Other than that I'm not going to give my opion since I'm a D driver so my thoughts are apparently less than relevant so some🙄

I personally love doing this. The fact that it is hard is a good thing. It is the best racing practice you can do as it contains pretty much every type of corner and situation you will ever encounter. Use this to learn how to "learn" a track and maximize consistency. If you stay positive and learn from this combo it will make you stronger at other tracks/combos

The score impact is determined by your average delta. If your delta with the top time is higher than your average delta your score is negative. If it's lower it's positive. At Nûrb the handfull of top drivers are doing insane laptimes, so even if you are high on the table the delta with the top time is still relatively high. 

It's the same for me btw, scoring -1.37. Painfull. I was about to get to 70.
