Been waiting for this one. Quite excited! A good track with a good category. A rather peak combination

Finally Gr3 at Spa again. Best possible combination 🙌

Very exciting. First time racing at Spa. I used the CE to learn how to drive on the wheel a few months ago. Now finally time to race here.

The rolling starts are absolutely horrendous in this race. If you start from around p10 or below, you start on the chicane and immediately lose like a second on the cars in front. Why didn't they use the 24h layout that was created just to fix this problem? They did use it last time this combination was used...

R8 Evo is dominating the leaderboard, but I just can't get used to that car, not my style. The 911 however is awesome here as well. 10/10 track&car combo. More daily Bs like this!

I am excited to try this track.

Gr.3 at Spa being the "best possible combination" to you shows how far we have fallen since the days of Gran Turismo 5 and 6. You know back in the day, PD actually used every car in the game and let you tune them. Now we have bland, cookie-cutter, BoPed-to-the-ground racecar slop every week and the playerbase still eats it up. You must be proud that you killed the soul of a franchise.

That's your opinion. I could care less about tuning boring road cars, I bought the game to race real race cars, that's it.

Nevermind. It is terrible, actually.

If all you get out of the GT franchise is "real race cars" then you should not be qualified to comment on the series at all. GT killed its entire identity trying to appeal to types like you, and now that it's slowly moving back in the right direction with cool and quirky road cars you have the gall to call them "boring". LMU, ACC and PMR are down the hall and to the left.

Again, that is your simple minded opinion. If you want to live in the past be my guest, no one is going to miss you.

They will continue to appeal to my type because numbers don't lie, GT is thriving because of their online community, not thier single player mode.

Only 10% of people who bought GT7 even played a single race of sport mode. The fact that you think your vocal minority is the main driving factor of this game is so funny it's honestly pathetic. I can't wait to see GT8 completely leave you tourists behind and commit to what made Gran Turismo great. That 500PP Kangoo race is gonna be beautiful.

Your “metrics” sound fabricated, your argument is weak, and your GT8 point is absurd. At this stage, you are not defending a position, you are just embarrassing yourself in public.

Next time, try facts instead of ego.

The funniest part is that you’re having this meltdown on a platform dedicated to online sim racing, while trying to argue that the online community is not what keeps the game relevant and profitable. That is such a stupid contradiction it almost speaks for itself. If online did not matter, communities like this would not even exist.

But of course, here you are, commenting on daily races while complaining about them because they are not built around the boring road cars you prefer. It’s honestly embarrassing to watch!

Should have kept your mouth shut!

Online lobbies matter. Online lobbies are the community. Sport mode is a hideous, pathetic abomination of a mode that has done nothing but tar the reputation of Gran Turismo as an automotive experience rather than a bog-standard, generic GT3 sim. Why does the concept of driving a car without downforce scare you? Why are you terrified of stepping outside your comfort zone? The problem lies with you alone.

I was trying everything. First of all, as usually, my controller lap time is 3-4 sec slower then the top. In every lobby I started 9th or worst. Just because the gap between my ant the 1-5 places in lobby was 2 sec difference was impossible to reach higher positions just because in this case you are starting from the "bus stop"if in front of me was no idiotic driver group. It means with stable races, no mistakes just driving my level and capabilities I only lost driver rating. Congratulations for the programming team. Why putting drivers with so big differences in to the lobby? Why not racing drivers on same level? Just with times in second together, for example. Never mind, maybe next week will be better and will gain back those 10000 DR points 😳🥺😬😭

Anyway: The life is racing. Everything before and after is just waiting.

Just keep racing, you will be a better driver after every race, win or lose!
