Does anyone know if this would be Group 3, 2 or something completely different? Is it just a copy of that group 2 wet race from a few weeks ago?

Probably Super Formulas or Gr2, as the Super Formula and Super GT season start next week, and they always match IRL races with Dailies when they have the chance.

We had Gt2 at suzuka like 7-12 weeks ago so it is most likely super formula or Gt3

I remember there being a race at Suzuka with GT500 cars (i might be wrong). Maybe it could be that if it isn't Gr.2? Or do you think it would be normal Gr.3?

Yeah the Gt500 was Gt2 so I don't see why they would do it again. So it would be gt3 or super formula.

Why are we able to see the track and tire type but not the group?

idk but it could be so people don't train for it before the race happens.

You were correct, it was Gr.3. Thank you!

I'm pretty sure it's because they just can't tell which car it would be. I would imagine that if they knew it would definitely be on the website

I haven't done one of the races yet since they just started but does anyone know if it might rain here like in the gt2 race?

I am asking ts because I can cook in the rain.

I haven't gotten any rain races, so unfortunately I don't think that's happening. It would've made this race a lot better as the strategy is very simple, and in the 992 there isn't even much tyre saving to do :(

Wish it was Gr2 or 1

Another Porsche Cup Daily, Spa and Audi was an exception for Daily B last week, dailies are too short, we had few 1h daily like Spa and then they decided that we need 5 laps around Tsukuba in ford fiesta, I always try to motivate myself to do daily but 90% it's one make and races are too short "5 laps" like wtf? Lobbies are better for 5 laps, at least we choose different track every race. 10 laps around Suzuka? Cool do they have more tracks in rotation or just 5? Groups are all over the place like GR.2 includes 3 different types of cars from different era, u not getting this balanced, same as GR.1, forget dailies and find private leagues, 100% better. Trash!

BOP means Best Option Porsche. F*cking ridiculous. I hate this car, I hate this BOP, I hate these tires

Great race, the AMG is a strong choice here as well if you're looking to break out of the Porsche cycle. But please PD, some variable weather and time of day changes. Gets boring racing in sunny clear skies for 7 days

Another week of Porsche cup, they knew what they were doing, easiest car to drive and the best overall, perfect for casual, I went to a friend's house and tried his rig while playing LMU, coming back to this was kinda sad

I really hope that in the next BOP change the Porsche will get downgraded.. absolute BS that on every track this car is performing.

There is a few cars that are just as quick. statisticly the Audi and Ferrari are better and the BMW and GTR are also fast around this track. its the sad fact that alot of people are just sheep they see the car at the top and pick that one insted of useing another that to be honest if they put the same amount of time behind the wheel of would be just as quick. the hole dynamic of GT3 racing is lost because this Grandturimo community are just followers. finding the weakness in another car on a particular section of the track and positioning yourself to exploit it or put pressure on them to force a mistake is lost. this might as well be F1 or Nascar. follow the leader. iv only ever used the Porsche its my favourite even the old one. i stick with it regardless of "Meta" and i do fine. its nice to have a car thats not one of the weakest for a change.

So you're saying that there are cars as fast or even faster and then you say that you only use the Porsche mhmh ....

Correct I drive the car I like not the one everyone else uses.

This track feels easier to run much faster times then any of the recent other gr3 daily races. Anyone else having the same experience?

Ok mate feel free to check my account and each Gr3 daily race and check which car I choose. Porsche RSR all the way up until the new GT3R. Check it and don't bother responding no one likes a troll.
