That's Gr4 BoP for you. Stopped taking it seriously a while ago. Depends on track but it's usually a one make (or in rare cases, a two-car meta).
Good clean racing here this week.
this is the first track i've ever gotten the Ferrari to go fastest for me. ran dozens of practice sessions in the 4C and for whatever reason, I can go quicker in the 458. and i really really really suck at driving the Ferraris, can't seem to keep them from oversteering. make it make sense! 😂

458 for me this week too! Although 458 is a go to for me :) -2 on the brake balance helped me out a lot on the last turn!
I've only completed the qualifying so far, and my focus in GT7 is mainly on time attacks through weekly time trials and in cases like this to see how I compare on the qualifying leaderboard. I was thinking about trying some races and wondering if the 4C is as quick when other cars are on the track. I've only done a few races in GT Sport and noticed that the meta in qualifying doesn't always carry over to race day.
I'm currently hovering around #1,000 in the qualifying. With my E rating, I'd maybe be in pole and could hopefully gap folks if I don't get pushed off the track in turn 1 but who knows. What's the situation with this one? Does the 4C still perform well in the race? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

If you've qualified that high in the global standings, my guess is you'll be a mile ahead of the field by the end of lap 1 🤣 so you should get a really clean race, and cars that you'll be lapping will be ghosted so you don't even have to worry about manuvering around them. Or -- pull off to the side at the start of the race, wait for the entire field to go past you so they can crash themselves in turns 1 & 3 and then you can drive through the mess and still finish on the podium.

Hahaha thanks for the tip 😂 I only did two daily races in GT Sport and qualified first on both. My first race I took off and never looked back. The second race I had a guy t-bone me into the sand at turn 1 of Sardegna probably going 120mph 🤷🏻♂️

A bit late given we changed races but if you're consistant at doing top 1000 times you'll go to B rating quickly. Focus on getting S SR first - work on the situational awareness- where are the other cars and how they drive and adapt your speed. Because you already have raw speed, the more car and situation control you have, the easier it will be to climb the ladder

Thanks for taking the time to help - that's really great advice and totally makes sense. Racing is a different thing entirely and I'm not sure if I'm cut out for it. I'm always worried l'Il make a mistake passing and wreck us both thus ruining someone else's race. Unfortunately, that leads me to driving very conservatively.

Nothing wrong with driving conservatively, I do it too. I'm almost too generous with the space I give other drivers and it usually ends up costing me a position but I don't want to be the driver ruining everybody else's races. (instead they run me off the road and I finish last) 😂 No but seriously, it takes time to learn to maneuver through the field and around slower or unpredictable drivers. Luc Elliot (formerly Luc Nodaro) gives great advice in his YouTube videos on how to manage race traffic - highly recommend to check him out if you haven't already.
