Alright you lot. dont start crying and say the Porsche is the meta. its not! Its being used by top guys/gals because its good to put a quick leaderboard lap down. if you pay attention later like tomorrow and in a few days the BRZ will be at the top with others like the AMG. iv just been in races with people using the new ferrari, AMG, BRZ, Bettle, Hurrican ect ect. all of them Quick in the low 1:22s and 1:21s. the Meta is what you make it and to be honest the Porsche is harder to drive around this track then some of the others i just mentioned. you just have to try. stick with it. i have forever used the Porsche even before the new one, and was always able to put in respective times with it.( and people ran from the RSR like the plauge) the only downfall it had is very simalar to the new one poor acceleration and top speed, and tire wear in long races would cause you to loose pace faster than others. use the cars you want and like dont be a SHEEP!!! you might find your faster in something else.

You are right, you can see that the BRZ is slowly creeping into the top 100 and even top 10. By the end of the week I feel that it will dominate at least the top ~50. It is way harder to drive than the 992 though so not many people would be able to use it in a race...
Defo found the Hurrican to be a decent race option and solid consistent lapping

I agree. I can't drive BRZ ... Too difficult car to drive for me but the best drivers can manage it.

I have to agree, it's definitely top 5 cars on Laguna but for me personally it's too pointy at the front and I end up hitting the sausages too often that's why I went with Mercedes it's predictable and very stable, Porsche is extremely good out of the last corner though and I'll most likely use it for time trial.
Why can't I give likes to comments?

I can't keep from looping it in the corkscrew 🤣 Was test-running some cars yesterday and while I love the Huracan most other places, I got it all wrong going down the hill time after time and kept losing the rear in a wild snap

I have that issue with the latest porsche in corckscrew...back end does not suit my style on this track. I find myself real tentative on throttle

just try to make a good time with the "meta" car, and do the race with a car you love (don't forget to train with it too)
If "Smooth is slow, slow is fast" were a track, it would be Laguna Seca.

actually i'm so new to this "game" that I haven't even driven all the cars yet, so switching each week to the "meta" has forced me to learn new cars and I'm loving the challenge. I'll admit sometimes I switch to something I have more confidence in, but if I don't challenge myself with different cars/handling now, I'm afraid I'll get too dependent on a particular car in the future if I ever do find any actual pace LOL
*plus it gives me a chance to paint a new car and I enjoy the design part immensly 😊
FUCK THIS UNDRIVABLE TRACK
