No, the World Series does not award points. The reason is simple. Some events have qualifying sessions in variable conditions, such as the Dragon Trail Round 2 of the Manufacturers Cup. Because of this, the playing field can be drastically uneven, making it impossible to draw any reasonable conclusions from the results.

How are the points calculated for each lobby? i did only one race yesterday in GT-2 (B S), started on pole, won the race but only gained 81 points. Today i see in the leaderboards, that the best GT-2 B Driver gained 131 points. Does it mean i was in a lobby with drivers that had less DR or there were too many worse drivers?
Edit: or is it because i did the second slot in the morning? the later the slot, the more points you gain?
The point system is a bit complicated, but I will explain it as clearly as possible.
Lobbies are based on driver rating. All drivers who enter an event are grouped into multiple splits according to their rating. For example, if 160 drivers enter, they are divided into 10 splits with 16 drivers in each. Because you are B rated, you will usually be placed somewhere in the middle splits.
Points follow the same structure. The top split earns the most points, and each lower split earns fewer. To give an example, the top split might award around 500 points, while the middle splits might only award about 100 points. This means that even if you win your race, you cannot earn top split points unless you are actually racing in that top split.
It is also important to note that only your last result counts for each event. Points do not stack within a single event, but they do accumulate over the course of the entire season.

Many thanks for your Answer Digit.
Obviously it was always clear to me, that it's not possible to earn 500 points for a win in a B-Lobby.
In the last Manufacturers Cup, i was also B rank in GT-2 but with much less DR points than now (think it was under 20000, now near 28000) so i thought a win yesterday would at least gain me more than 100 points, last cup i got 109 and 118 for a win, so 81 yesterday seems very few to mee. And i only did this race one time yesterday the slot at 10am.
But again, thanks for the explanation, i know it is not you distributing the points :D
Edit: should have been waiting a few minutes, now i realized you posted a Guide concerning the points, "...determined by the average DriverRating of all drivers in that race". So i guess that was the main reason.

I have race three times this Event. I finished in 3rd, 5th and the last raste I quited after I crashed.
Now I see, that I have earned 0 points... so does only the last race count and not the best one? I am lost how this works in scoring???
Genau, es zählt jeweils der letzte gefahrene Versuch einer Veranstaltung und insgesamt zählen die 5 besten Ergebnisse der 6 Rennen
