Fanatec DD+

Do you know if the Fanatec DD Pro has protection against over-revving when downshifting. It seems to me that some cars simply cannot shift down. With Gr1, Gr2 and Gr3 it is no problem, but with Gr4 I have to be more careful with downshifting. Is my reasoning about the engine over-revving protection correct? Fanatec doesn't have the protection, but the game does, it's there to prevent overuse of engine braking.

Is there a particular Fanatec wheel that everybody loves? 

*EDIT: nevermind, I was just told by Fanatec customer support that purchasing a wheel to be used on PlayStation outside of a pre-packed PS bundle is not possible
